We're Still Here

By now you have heard that Governor Walz has issued an executive order that Minnesotans stay at home starting on Friday night. Food shelves, homeless shelters, and soup kitchens are all considered essential services. Damiano will continue providing bagged meals during regular meal times for the duration.


We know that right now you miss getting a handshake and hug from Richard when you walk in the door in the morning, hearing Donna's laughter, and even getting a scolding from Flora. We are doing everything that we can to keep our staff healthy and safe, so you won't see them as much as you used to, particularly those at higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19.

If you are hungry, please keep visiting us for food. Please follow recommendations to wash your hands, to maintain social distancing, and to stay home except to meet your essential needs. Make sure you get your news from reputable sources, like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We miss you right now, and we want you to make it through this pandemic safely too.


Watch our website for updates and for photos of our friendly staff. Things are different now, but we're still here.
