This year for our annual October Community Connect we had over 30 organizations participating to give our community a wealth of different resources ranging from health insurance, warrant resolution, and peer support through the day. We also provided hair trims, chair massage, foot care, SPDATs, birth certificates, winter coats, and lunch. There were also a range of vaccines and STI testing throughout the day. Our next Community Connect event will be held on January 23rd 2025.
Love that Community Connect offered so much more than just resources — the hair trims, chair massages, and winter coats made it feel like a real community celebration.
